Yongyu (Frank) Qiang

Hi! I’m an incoming PhD student in Mathematics at Duke University, starting in Fall 2026. Previously, I was an undergraduate student studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Georgia Tech, where I worked on dispersive partial differential equations with Dr. Gong Chen.

My research interests are generally in number theory and analysis. Currently, I’m most interested in automorphic forms, the Langlands program, and harmonic analysis, though I’m open to studying other topics as well. In the past, I have worked on partial differential equations, finite fields, and mathematical cryptography.

On the computer science side, I have interests in computer graphics, algorithms, and cybersecurity.
